Northline: a complete business consulting website

A full Elementor website template for consultants, advisors, agencies and small professional firms. Not a single page: a complete site, with the header, footer, service pages, case studies, blog and enquiry form already in place.

Runs on free plugins only. No paid plugins needed. Global colours and fonts are already configured, so changing your brand colour updates the whole site rather than forty individual elements.

What is included

17 ready-made pages covering what a consulting site actually needs: home, about, services, a page for each of three services (business strategy, brand and positioning, operations and growth), projects with a filter, three case studies, insights, FAQ, contact, a thank-you page, privacy policy, terms of use and a page-not-found page.

3 blog articles with categories and featured images, so your insights page looks finished from day one. The blog lists update on their own when you publish new articles.

• Header: site-wide and sticky, with navigation and a call to action
• Footer: site-wide
• Mobile menu: a proper slide-in menu that also works from the keyboard
• Enquiry form: sent to your site’s email address, with built-in spam protection, then a thank-you page
• Project filter: visitors sort your case studies by type
• Page not found: your own 404 page, designed to match the rest of the site
• Privacy policy and terms: laid out as drafting checklists for your own wording. If your site already has a privacy policy page, the import keeps it.

Site settings: global colours, global fonts and theme style settings come with the template.

You do not need to hunt for these plugins: the importer lists them and installs and activates each one with a click.

Before you import

1. Take a full backup of your site files and database. UpdraftPlus does this free. Importing changes your global colours, fonts, pages and menu, and you want a way back.
2. Use a fresh or staging site if you can. This template is designed for a new build. Importing onto an existing site with its own design will overwrite your global styles.
3. Install the Hello Elementor theme and activate it. Other themes usually work, but Hello is what the template was built against and adds no styling of its own to fight with.
4. Check your memory limit. Under Elementor → System Info, look for WP Memory Limit. If it is under 256MB, ask your host to raise it. Low memory is the most common cause of a failed import.

How to import

1. Once your payment is confirmed, your licence key arrives by email and stays in your account.
2. Install the free CodersNoyan Templates plugin on your site. The download link is in your order email and in the installation guide. If you already have it, update it to 0.7.2 or newer first.
3. In WordPress, go to Appearance → CodersNoyan Templates and paste your licence key.
4. Open Northline. Under Step 1: Plugins, install and activate the free plugins it lists.
5. Under Step 2: Import, click Import Northline and wait. It usually takes a minute or two. Do not close the tab.
6. When it finishes, click View your site. The header, footer, pages, blog and menu are already live.

After importing

• Replace the demo content: logo, text, images, and the example contact details.
• Write your privacy policy and terms using the checklists on those pages.
• Update global colours if you want your own palette: Elementor → Site Settings → Global Colors. Changing them here updates the entire site.
• Check your enquiry form: Contact → Contact Forms. Messages go to your site’s admin email; change the address in the form’s Mail tab if you want them elsewhere.

If something goes wrong

The importer says Northline needs a newer version. Update CodersNoyan Templates to 0.7.2 or newer from the link in your order email, then open Northline again.

The Import button is greyed out. Install and activate the plugins listed under Step 1 first, and make sure your licence key is entered.

The import stops partway. Usually memory or hosting space. Raise the PHP memory limit to 256MB, check your hosting account is not full, and click Import again. You can safely re-run the import.

The header or footer does not appear. Check that Elementor Header & Footer Builder is active, then open the header or footer template and make sure its display rule is set to Entire Website.
