How We Use Your Information

We use your data for purposes including:

  • Providing and delivering our WordPress web development services
  • Sending transactional and promotional emails
  • Improving website functionality and user experience
  • Tracking affiliate referrals
  • Complying with legal obligations and preventing fraud

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

This site uses a small number of cookies. Some are needed for the site to work; others help me understand how visitors use it.

Essential (always on): WordPress and WooCommerce cookies keep your cart, checkout and account working. The cn_consent cookie remembers your cookie choice for 6 months. Google reCAPTCHA protects the quote and contact forms from spam. Cloudflare, which delivers this site, may set a short security cookie to filter out bots.

Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 shows me which pages people visit, how they found the site and which forms they send, so I can improve it. It sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, which last up to 2 years, and Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months. WooCommerce order attribution (sbjs_* cookies, which last for one visit) records which source led to an order.

Advertising (optional): The Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, which runs Facebook and Instagram) tells me which Facebook and Instagram posts and ads lead to quote requests, messages and purchases on this site, and lets me show ads to people who have visited it. It sets the _fbp cookie (up to 90 days) and, when you arrive from a Meta ad, the _fbc cookie. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy. Google advertising cookies are not used.

Your choice: If you visit from the UK, the EU/EEA or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they are on by default. Anyone can change their choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or by blocking or deleting cookies in the browser.

Affiliate links: When you click an affiliate link to a theme or plugin developer, their site may set its own cookies to credit the referral. Those cookies are covered by that site’s policy.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your data with:

  • Payment processors (e.g., PayPal)
  • Service providers who help us operate our website (e.g., hosting, analytics)
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram), to measure and show ads, only with your consent where it is required

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
